Florida, Bahamas and Cuba Airline of Choice and Canada’s Largest Domestic and International Airline Enter Partnership Offering Customers Single Ticket Access

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (January 23, 2017) – Silver Airways and Air Canada are making it easy for travelers to connect between the carriers’ networks with their new interline ticketing partnership.

Under the agreement, travelers are now able to purchase a single ticket for flights to and from the more than 60 cities that Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and its regional partners serve throughout Canada, and to Silver Airways’ destinations throughout Florida and the Bahamas. Customers benefit by booking single ticket trips and combining flights on multiple carriers.

“We are proud to partner with yet another well-respected airline to provide customers with seamless travel options between Silver Airway’s extensive Florida and Bahamas network and Air Canada’s broad service throughout Canada,” said Silver Airways CFO and Executive Vice President Jason Bewley. “Air Canada will add long-term strategic value to Silver and our customers, and we look forward to developing a deeper commercial relationship with Air Canada that further enhances travel options for customers traveling between Canada and Florida/Caribbean.”

This interline partnership allows Air Canada customers new access to many exciting Florida and Bahamian destinations, including Key West, Pensacola, Tallahassee, Bimini, Grand Bahama (Freeport), Eleuthera (North Eleuthera and Governor’s Harbour), the Abacos (Marsh Harbour and Treasure Cay), and Great Exuma (George Town), as well as additional options to other major Florida destinations and to create multi-stop itineraries across Florida on a single ticket. At the same time, Silver Airways’ customers benefit from interline access to Air Canada’s flights from Florida to nonstop destinations including Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Halifax.

Since emerging as an independent airline a few years ago, Silver Airways has continued to develop a diverse and growing portfolio of airline alliances that includes codeshare agreements with JetBlue, United Airlines, and Avianca, as well as interline agreements with American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Alaska Airlines, Azul Brazilian Airlines, Bahamasair, Hahn Air, and All Nippon Airways.
