Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (March 11, 2014) – Silver Airways has successfully completed the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), the global benchmark for safety management in airlines, and joined IATA’s IOSA Registry on March 10, 2014.
IATA’s IOSA program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. It is designed so that audits are conducted in a standardized and consistent manner.
“This accomplishment in passing our first-ever IOSA Audit is another significant milestone in our development as a next generation regional airline,” said Silver Airways President and CEO Dave Pflieger.  “This is a testament to the hardworking teammates of Silver Airways for their never-ending dedication to always putting safety first for our guests.”
