Silver Airways/Seaborne Airlines CEO Steve Rossum Speaking
at Saab Global Operators Conference

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (November 28, 2018) – Silver Airways and Seaborne Airlines CEO Steve Rossum will be speaking at the Saab 340 & 2000 Global Operators Conference taking place in Miami on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 8:30 am.

The conference is co-hosted by Saab Aerospace & Defense and Jetstream Aviation Capital, the world’s largest lessor of Saab turboprop aircraft, and focuses on the viability and sustainability of 50-seat and smaller regional aviation, anchored by the Saab line of regional turboprop aircraft. Globally there are more than 250 Saab-built turboprop aircraft in active commercial service. Silver Airways and Seaborne Airlines are Jetstream’s largest Saab leasing customers.

Rossum will be speaking on the morning’s airline CEO panel discussing opportunities and challenges for independent regional airlines. Also speaking on the panel will be CEOs from Loganair, Regional Express Airlines and Air East. Together, the five airlines operate more than115 Saab 340 and Saab 2000 passenger and cargo aircraft.

Rossum will also be speaking during an afternoon round-table discussion focusing on the future of regional aviation along with speakers from the morning's lessor, MRO and airline CEO panels, as well as participants from the aircraft valuation and electric engine technology sectors.

Started in 1986, the Saab Global Operators Conference is the premier gathering where Saab 340 & 2000 operators, vendors, lessors, and Saab exchange ideas end experiences while looking forward and deciding on priorities for further development of the aircraft types.
